Global Hand Washing Day 2017

We made posters about washing our hands.
We need to wash our hands with soap and if we don't wash our hands and we put our fingers in our mouths we might get sick because of the germs.

Fruit Faces

 

Using real fruit and vegetables, we created faces in the style of Arcimboldo.

Shapes, Colour, Weaving in 1CD

We had a special art day with Mr Wyatt, looking at colour, shapes and patterns. We made pictures inspired by the works of Picasso.

 

As well as practising our cutting skills, we learned how to weave.

We love being creative and we were all very proud of our creations!

Making Houses - 1CD

During 'Waste Week', we had a junk modelling day. We designed and made all sorts of houses, using boxes, plastic bottles, felt, feathers, straws and more. Here are a few examples of our work.
